冯东,研究员,博士生导师。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,曾获国家优秀青年科学基金资助,入选中国科学院人才计划并获终期评估优秀。2003年获中国地质大学(武汉)学士学位,2008年获中国科学院广州地球化学研究所博士学位。2008-2012年在路易斯安那州立大学从事博士后研究。2012-2019年在中国科学院南海海洋研究所工作,任研究员。
主要从事海洋沉积地球化学研究工作。主持国家重点研发计划课题1项和国家自然科学基金项目8项。研究成果发表在PNAS, Science Advances, Geology、EPSL、GCA、GRL等期刊上,被引用超过4000次(据Google Scholar统计)。
